Our services involve querying these platforms as end users to assess how AI search engines describe and recommend businesses. We do not have special access, insider knowledge, or preferential treatment from any AI provider.

Results May Vary

AI visibility results vary significantly based on multiple factors, including:

• Industry — some industries have more AI training data and citation sources than others
• Market and location — local vs. national visibility dynamics differ
• Content quality — the depth, accuracy, and structure of your existing online presence
• Competitive landscape — what competitors are doing in AI optimization
• AI model updates — platforms update their models and data regularly, which can change results

No two businesses will achieve identical results, even with the same optimization strategy.

Scores and Baselines

The AI citation readiness scores presented in our audits and reports are based on real queries to live AI models at the time of assessment. These scores reflect a current baseline, not a guaranteed future outcome. AI models are updated frequently, and scores may fluctuate independently of any optimization work.

When we report that "the average Northern Arizona business scores 3-4 out of 10," this is based on our internal testing across businesses in our service area. Individual results will differ.

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is an emerging discipline. While our methodology is grounded in peer-reviewed research from Princeton University (published at ACM KDD 2024), best practices in this field are evolving rapidly.
